This piece is an excerpt from my 2025 show, Syncretism, a study integrating aerial and dance. I wanted to highlight the challenges a small company faces when producing a show involving aerial rigging. With my energy reserves, I had two choices for this show: a pause for me to rig, or have (qualified) friends help me so I could improvise. I chose the latter (no pun intended).
