Performance
From the avant-garde to commercial gigs, one thing is for sure – I can't stop dancing. With my experience on stage and backstage, I empathize with my clients and collaborators, ensuring you'll get a thoughtful and fully committed member of your cast or event. Specialties include postmodern, contemporary theater performances, aerial sling, improvisation, and commercial freestyling.
Choreography
I am a community-centered choreographer. What does that mean? It means that I focus on celebrating the differences in our shared artistic space, creating works that highlight the uniqueness of each cast member, and welcoming their perspectives into the work. Plainly speaking, I work with people of most ages and levels in Western dance forms and aerial dance.
Instruction
I have taught dozens of formats over the years. Currently, I am focused on aerial dance, aerial sling, aerial yoga, teacher training, and aerial fitness instruction for most ages and levels. I take a multi-disciplinary approach to my classrooms, integrating dance, circus, and yoga perspectives for an informed and creative experience. Universal Learning is at the heart of my group classes. We start on an equitable ground, develop our sense of agency, and advance our skillsets safely and effectively.
