The Vertical Edit Nashville

OVERVIEW
The Vertical Edit Nashville (TVEN) is a newsletter for aerial and pole artists in middle Tennessee. Subscribers and I generate the monthly content through a Google Form. I developed this initiative for Satellite Dance as a response to precarious arts funding in Nashville. The central question was, "If our live projects are delayed or cancelled, how can Satellite continue our impact?" Inspired by our photobook project during the pandemic, I explored other mediums to stay connected to our community during times of challenge and change.

The content of the newsletter includes highlighting special events, connecting members of the vertical community, celebrating wins (big and small), and engaging in games and Instagram challenges.

The goal of The Vertical Edit Nashville is to provide a hub of awareness, support, and celebration for vertical artists regardless of company or studio affiliation.
